Email template builder
Build a simple HTML email from blocks, preview it, then copy or download the code.
Content width is fixed at 600px and shrinks on small screens. Fonts are web-safe, so they show the same in every email app.
Blocks
1. Heading
2. Text
A blank line starts a new paragraph.
3. Image
Paste the https address of a hosted image. Until then this block is left out of the email.
4. Text
A blank line starts a new paragraph.
5. Button
6. Divider
A thin line between sections. Nothing to edit.
7. Footer
An Unsubscribe link is added below this text. It points to
{{unsubscribe_url}}: replace that with your email tool's unsubscribe tag.
Your draft is saved in this browser only. Starting over clears it, and you can undo.
Preview
The preview loads your images from the addresses you entered. Nothing else leaves your device.
How it works
Build an HTML email from blocks: heading, text, image, button, footer. Preview on desktop and mobile, then copy or download the HTML. Free, nothing uploaded.
- Pick a starting layout, then set your brand colour and font.
- Edit, add and reorder blocks while the preview updates.
- Copy the HTML or download it, then paste it into your email tool.
Questions
Will the HTML work in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail?
It uses tables, inline styles, a 600px maximum width and web-safe fonts, the same techniques email designers use for broad support. Always send yourself a test before a real send.
What is the unsubscribe placeholder?
The footer block links to {{unsubscribe_url}}. Replace that text with the unsubscribe merge tag of the tool you send from, since each tool uses its own tag.
Can I upload images here?
No. Images are added by web address (https only), so host them where your email tool or website can serve them. The preview loads your image from that address.
Is my draft saved?
Yes, in this browser only, so you can come back to it. Nothing is uploaded. Use Start over to clear it; Undo brings it back until your next edit.
What is the preheader?
The short preview line many inboxes show next to the subject. It is hidden inside the email itself.
