Questions

Is my export uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and converted in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

Which Pocket files work?

Pocket’s CSV export, as long as it has the title, url, time_added, tags and status columns this tool reads, the older ril_export.html with its Unread and Read Archive sections, and a .zip holding either. If your export came as several CSV files, choose them together.

Can I still export from Pocket?

No. Mozilla’s support page says Pocket shut down on July 8, 2025, and that exporting closed on November 12, 2025, when its API was disabled and account deletion began. This tool only converts an export you already saved. Source: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/future-of-pocket (checked 2026-11-06; Mozilla notes the article is no longer maintained).

How do I import the bookmarks file into LinqList or my browser?

Download "Bookmarks HTML". LinqList imports a browser bookmarks HTML file, so choose that file in its import screen. Your browser’s own bookmark import accepts the same file. The links arrive in a folder named Pocket.

What happens to tags?

Tags are kept in every format. In the bookmarks file you can choose one folder called Pocket, or one folder per tag. With folders per tag, a link with two tags appears in both folders; links with no tag go to "Untagged".

Are the filters applied to the download?

Yes. Only the links that match your search, status and tag are written to the file, and the preview shows how many that is.
