  3. Check the preview of the first numbered page, then download the numbered PDF.

Questions

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF is read and changed in your browser and never leaves your device.

How do I skip the cover page?

Under Pages choose "Only these pages" and enter 2- to number from page 2 to the end. The first numbered page gets your start number, so the page after the cover reads 1.

What does "of N" show?

The last number that is printed. With 10 pages, a skipped cover and start number 1, the last page reads "Page 9 of 9".

Do the numbers look right on rotated pages?

Yes. Each number is placed as a reader sees the page, so it stays upright and in the corner you chose on pages that are rotated by 90, 180 or 270 degrees.

Does it change the rest of my PDF?

It only adds the number text to the pages you chose. Page sizes, rotation and existing content stay as they were. The number is drawn in Helvetica.
