Split PDF
Split a PDF into single pages, equal parts or your own page ranges, in your browser.
Choose a PDF to see how it will be split.
How it works
Split a PDF by page, every N pages or custom ranges, or extract chosen pages into one new PDF. Runs in your browser, so your file is never uploaded.
- Choose your PDF.
- Pick how to split it: every page, every N pages, page ranges, or pages you select.
- Check the parts listed, then download the PDF or a ZIP of the parts.
Questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is split on your device, in this browser tab. Nothing you choose leaves it.
How do I write page ranges?
Separate ranges with commas, and each range becomes its own PDF. "1-3, 4-6, 7-" gives three files; "7-" runs to the last page. A range written backwards, such as 5-2, is rejected.
What is the difference between ranges and extracting pages?
Ranges make one PDF per range. Extract selected pages makes a single PDF from the pages you click, in their original order.
What do I get when there are several parts?
A ZIP file with one PDF per part, named like your-file-part-01.pdf, your-file-part-02.pdf. When the result is a single part you get a plain PDF.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Remove the password first, then choose the file again.
